Avocado
Mexico is the world’s leading producer and exporter of avocados, accounting for more than 45% of global production. The state of Michoacán is the heart of avocado farming, thanks to its microclimates and volcanic soils, which allow year-round production. Other important states include Jalisco, Nayarit, Estado de México, and Puebla.
